Himani Mishra, Brand Radiator
She is the Co-founder and CEO of Brand Radiator, a brand solutions company. Considering the fact that most people move towards metros and cosmopolitan cities while building the start-up eco-system, she felt that small cities have more potential for start-ups. Himani felt that there is the urgent requirement for a good digital marketing company in Tier II and III cities/towns where most people lack understanding on the importance of this industry. Hence, she aimed at revolutionizing digital marketing in her home state Bihar, first making the masses aware of digital marketing and providing support and help in more employment generation. Thus, she started the company Brand Radiator. She started with two members initially and today it has grown to a 16-member team. Her future plan is to educate masses and local businesses about the power of digital marketing and generate more employment in Bihar and launch digital marketing training courses for the people in Bihar.
Yashi Malviya and Sukirti Roy, Bihar Bytes
Bihar Bytes, a platform that showcases and promotes the rich culture and heritage of Bihar. Started in 2016 by 2 young ladies, Yashi Malviya and Sukirti Roy. They initially started with a YouTube channel that focused on travel stories from Bihar. Soon, their channel’s viewership increased and people from Bihar and outside actually gave great reviews. That’s when these girls thought of starting up a full-fledged online platform and they gave up their jobs. For the next few months, they simply worked on the idea. The girls ran the channel for 4 months and then took it off and started their online platform Bihar Bytes. The idea is to boost tourism in Bihar. Leaving aside few well-known places in Bihar, most of the local tourist spots are unknown to the tourists. To make Bihar more accessible and friendly to people, these two girls, just 24 years olds, have been educating local people and spreading awareness. They also travel a lot all across India to be able to hard sell Bihar to others.
