Fun of Buying Footwear Online |

A month ahead the Christmas, meteorologist James Francis on his transfer from Delhi relocated to an obscure place in Himachal Pradesh. He had to take over an observatory being set up in Mandi region. No sooner than setting up the new home, his wife Lilly began preparations for the Christmas and New Year celebrations. As planned, the collegiate teen-aged children Wilson and Wilma joined their parents in the second week of December.
All went on well until Lilly became perturbed since she could not buy new shoes for her son and daughter. She had promised these as the Season’s gifts to them. Dharampur town where they resided had no store selling designer branded footwear. The mercury, hitting the zero point, too played a spoilt sport giving no chance for a visit to Mandi or Dharamsala in Kangra to shop for classic pairs of shows.
Watching the worried looks on his wife’s face, James pepped her up by saying, “Dear, no need to get upset over this though Christmas is just a week away. All your problems are solved.” Next he pulled out the laptop and on getting connected to the Internet, began surfing. With varied words like boots India online he hoped for an apt option to order all the needs of Lilly. Indeed, all of them were amazed by the fantastic results since scores of offers had propped up on the computer screen.
“So what’re the ones you wish to present to our kids?” asked James. Lilly was mesmerised by the colourful presentation of different designs including price tags and discount offers. After registering Wilson’s preference, James opted for women sports shoes online to buy attractive pairs for the duo of mother and daughter.
On the third day after booking their needs, the Francis family was greeted by the doorbell ring. At the gate of their cottage was a man to deliver the pairs of shoes. That afternoon Lilly must have been the happiest mother on the earth since Christmas was just two days away and she had fulfilled the promises to her children. Indeed, no more she was a perturbed lady, in tune with what the famed talk show host Oprah Winfrey had said: ‘I still have my feet on the ground, I just wear better shoes’.
