JEE Main 2020 Notification has been released on 21 August 2019. It will consist of all the necessary information that an aspirant must know about JEE Main 2020. The notification released by NTA comprises the changes in JEE Main 2020, important dates, and the other important information related to JEE Main 2020 Examination. Here is the detailed JEE Main 2020 Notification. JEE Main 2020 Changes CBSE has made some major changes in the JEE Main 2020 Notification Examination. These changes are listed below: JEE Main 2020 Online Application Form NTA will release the JEE Main 2020 Registration Process on the official website from 02 September 2019. The aspirants need to fill the Online Application Form after checking the JEE Main 2020 Eligibility Criteria. The last date to fill the application form will be First Week of October 2019. The applicants will be given an option to correct the uploaded images. Also, the Application Form Correction Window will be open in February 2020 for making corrections in the Online Application Form. But, only the specified corrections can be done by the students.
JEE Main 2020 Examination JEE Main 2020 Examination will consist of two examinations in both Offline (Pen and Paper Based) Mode and Online (Computer Based) Mode. Paper 1 will be for the students willing to get admitted in B.E. / B. Tech. courses. Paper 2 will be for the students willing to get admitted in B. Arch. / B. Planning courses. A candidate can also apply for both the examinations through the same Application Form (if he wishes). Paper 1 will be of total 90 questions of total 360 marks. Out of these, each of the section, i.e., Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, will consist of 30 questions. Total time allotted for the paper will be 3 hours only. All the questions will be of Objective Type only. Each correct answer to a question will award +4 marks to a candidate. There is negative marking also. Each incorrect answer will result in -1 mark for the student. Paper 2 will be of total 92 questions of total 390 marks. Out of these, Mathematics section will consist of 30 questions, Aptitude section will consist of 50 questions, and Drawing section will consist of 2 questions. Total time allotted for the paper will be 3 hours only. All the questions of Mathematics and Aptitude section will be of Objective Type only whereas all the questions of Drawing section will be of Subjective Type only. Each correct answer in the Objective Type Questions will award +4 marks to a candidate. There is negative marking also in the Objective Type Questions. Each incorrect answer in the Objective Type Questions will result in -1 mark for the student. Each question in the Drawing section (Subjective Type Questions) will be of 35 marks each. JEE Main 2020 Admit Card After the deadline for application form and the correction window, NTA will release Admit Cards of all the candidates from 06 December 2019. It will consist of all the information related to the applicant and the JEE Main 2020 Examination. Students should carry this Admit Card to the examination hall (without this Admit Card, they will not be allowed to appear in the examination). Candidates are advised to keep the Admit Card safe till their admission to the colleges. JEE Main 2020 Result After the JEE Main 2020 Examination, the results and AIRs of all the candidates will be declared by NTA on 31 January 2020. It will consist of the exact marks of the candidates in every subject and the total marks secured by the candidate (including the bonus marks) and also the ranks of candidates in Common Rank List (CRL) and the category rank. Also, the cut offs for all the categories will be displayed along with the result. The students who secured total marks greater than the cut off marks are eligible to apply and appear for JEE Advanced 2020 Examination. JEE Main 2020 Counseling After the declaration of JEE Main 2020 Result, the JoSAA and CSAB will conduct the JEE Main 2020 Counseling from Second Week of June 2020. It will consist of 6-7 rounds of counseling. The seats will be allotted to the students according to their ranks and the choices locked by them.
