Men's casual shoes for work |
Posted: May 30, 2017 |
Gone are the days when one was obligated to wear formal shoes to work. Although, these shoes fall under the casual category they issue a bold fashion testimony. Shoes for men have as many varieties as women these days. Dressing up is no longer a matter just for parties and special occasions, but work as well. You might have well-toned abs, but it if you don’t complement it with an appropriate attire, it will say wrong things about your personality. Tucking your shirt in your trousers is always a right thing to do. But ultimately, if you don’t have matching footwear to apply the finishing touch to your attire, almost all fashion sense is lost. Espadrilles Espadrilles are casual, flat soled shoes with their upper commonly made out of cotton or canvas. Their flexible soles made out of esparto rope. The traditional Espadrilles date back to the 14th century when the whole shoe was crafted out of rope. Yes, that’s right; these shoes have a long history behind them. Contemporarily, the canvas or cloth used in them can be styled in any color, pattern or design. These shoes are considerably cheap and you can buy more than a couple of pairs to match with your pants, jeans or shorts. Moccasins A lot of people consider them as ‘slippers’, and essentially they are slip-on shoes. If you buy a right pair of moccasins, they are known to help strengthen your foot and leg muscles as they are appropriate for your natural gait or stride. Traditional moccasins are made out of leather with minimal or no insole. They are, by no means, inappropriate for dressing formally at work and go well with your formal pants. Clearly, they are very light and are optimum for any type of use. Sneakers Initially designed for sports or other forms of physical exercise, sneakers have found their way into other forms of casual activities. These are simple shoes with soles made out of flexible leather and the upper part being synthetic or leather in most cases. These shoes are perfect for you if your professional work involves a lot of travel or sturdy activities. Sneakers are reasonably robust and last for long periods. They go amazingly well with jeans and chinos, or even shorts (If you’re allowed wearing them at work). Chukkas Chukkas are high ankle lace up shoes/boots with suede or leather uppers and rubber or leather soles. The Chukkas were originally worn by British soldiers in deserts during World War 2. So if you plan to sport a Chukka at work, you’ll feel no less than a soldier going at war. All desert boots are Chukkas but not all Chukkas are desert boots. Traditionally stitched in beige colored suede, these boots go with jeans like no other footwear.
